Dr. Sherri

Dr. Sherri has over twenty years of work experience in the field of development. Prior to Minority Talent Network and Consulting, Dr. Sherri served as a Civil Rights Investigator for the government and the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission and was later promoted to Human Resources Specialist. Dr. Sherri also serves as a Professor at Grantham University teaching Criminal Justice, Public Policy & Administration, Research Methods, & Sociology courses as well as building the curriculum.

Dr. Sherri joined the executive search business with a broad range of experience in curriculum development, contract negotiations, contract interpretation, investigation, career development, talent development, talent acquisition, training, Diversity and Inclusion, Cultural Competency while working closely with top-level administrators and executives to develop key strategic initiatives and implement organizational change. She also brings experience across a range of leadership and talent solutions, including executive development and assessment, team facilitation, performance management, and work measurement. She regularly performs individual coaching, supporting senior executives to increase their leadership impact and organizational performance, both individually and through their teams as well as coaching in the area of wealth building.

Dr. Sherri has held positions in several departments with the State of Michigan including the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Michigan Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, Michigan Department of Civil Rights, Michigan Department of Corrections, Quality of Life (Department of Natural Resources; Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy; Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development), and Michigan Department of Education.

Dr. Sherri has a Doctoral Degree in Public Policy & Administration and Industrial & Organizational Psychology and holds a Master of Science in Criminal Justice and Industrial & Organizational Psychology. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University.
